All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The resident dogs were suprising to begin with but were very calm and didn't come anywhere near me. The hotel is clean and breakfast good. The flooring in bathroom and bedroom was a bit creaky/uneven.
Lovely hotel. Wonderfully kind people at reception most of all who helped us after our car broke down nearby, nothing was too much trouble the next day as well. Very grateful for the kindness, the good night’s sleep and a lovely breakfast which was much needed after many roadside hours of AA ( or rather lack of AA) trouble. Thank you so much!
We booked last minute as we were going to g to Thruxton. The staff could not do enough for you they even gave us a lift to the circuit as taxis are few and far between. Yes the room we stayed it could do with a referb but it was clean and comfortable. Had everything we needed tea coffee, biscuits , hairdryer and iron etc The menu was good we went for the curry which was ok. Breakfast was good , eggs cooked on request with a full English and cold choices as well. Tea, coffee and fruit juices, all self service. In general the place is looking tired and could do with a deep clean but we would there stay again as we were made so welcome. Sharron and her team couldn’t do enough for us the team works really hard. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
I had the pleasure of staying here ,what a lovely hotel. The staff and owners were friendly, professional and nothing was to much trouble. The room was fab, large and airy, decorated in shaby chic style, The king size bed was super comfy. The hotel is dog friendly and the 2 resident pouches are gorgeous friendly cuddly bears. There's a cosy bar area with a excellent choice of beers, wines and spirits which are reasonably priced and a elegant dinning room. The food is excellent ,with a varied menu. The full English at breakfast was good along with a choice of cereals etc. This place is a little gem and can't wait to stay again.
